My name is Vilma Robles.  I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I completed my studies as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Midwestern State University.  

 

Two years ago, I joined the JNC team with over 10 years of training and experience treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across practice settings from Inpatient Clinical Psychiatry to Home Health Psychiatry. I have served this special population in different roles of staff, management, and quality. My background includes long term care, acute medical care, pediatric and adult home health, and acute and chronic hemodialysis.

 

I was raised in Brownsville, TX and started my nursing career as a Certified Nurse Assistant my Senior year of high school and since I have been dedicated to providing care in our community with the ultimate goal of helping clients achieve their health goals by providing holistic care.  I am a strong patient advocate and plan to pursue my doctorate in nurse practice.
